The ski slope on the Vorobievy hills is one of the most popular places with downhill skiers and snowborders. It is located in a wood meadow in South West Moscow, on the Moskva river right bank. There are three speed ski slopes (with a maximum length of 230 m, an elevation of 45 m) and several modern chairlifts. The piste meets demands of the International Ski Federation (FIS). Competitions of different level are held on the Vorobievy hills every day, all Moscow can be seen clearly from the start point, the main problem for the sportsmen is not to get lost in contemplation missing the start signal…
But this is not the only reason for popularity of the Vorobievy hills. A great nature, fresh air, perfect view of the capital, a majestic building of the MGU (Moscow State University), parks are the best choice for a meeting with your loved one. It is easy to get to the Vorobievy Hills. The “Leninsky Prospect” or “Kievskaia’’ metro stations, then you take any urban transport to Smotrovaya ploshadka (on Kosygina str.). 10 minutes walk from the “Vorobiovy Gory” metro station and here you are!
