General Manager
Korston Hotels & Malls is looking for a top professional General Manager.
This position has overall management responsibility for the operation of the hotel including P&L, guest service, product quality, cleanliness, maintenance, sales, housekeeping, marketing, and staff development and management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the hotel's overall operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations.
- Manages all sources of revenue including the rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering, and other departments.
- Promotes hotel's policies and philosophies to employees and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management
- International experience & exposure
- Positive experience in execution of pre-opening hotel projects
- Excellent knowledge of hotel technologies and standards
- Focused in new concepts, new targets and innovation
- Excellent understanding of all financial reports. (P&L, Forecast and Operating budget)
- Outstanding leadership and staff development skills.
- Strong desire to lead and motivate employees
- Judgment and speed in decision making
- Great communication skills to interact with executives at all organizational levels; owners, investors, community and guests.
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Attention to detail.
